If you would like to be a part of something amazing whilst having fun and supporting two local charities, then we'd love you to join our wonderful team of volunteers at the
2026 Newark Dragon Boat Festival! We require volunteers for the following dates/times:
Festival weekend | Riverside Park, Newark
Saturday 12th September
One shift to assist with the set up - 2pm to 5.30pm
Sunday 13th September

7am to 9.30am - most needed
-
9am to 12.30pm
-
12noon to 3.30pm
-
3pm to 6pm - most needed
-
5pm to 7.00pm - most needed
Marketing & Promotion Support | w/c 3rd August and w/c 14th September
Help us spread the word by working in pairs to:
-
Display 50 A2 Correx advertising boards across Newark and surrounding villages before the festival.

Remove the boards after the event.
-
Put up and take down 5 vinyl banners during the same periods.
Volunteer Event Photographers Needed - Sunday 13th September | Approx. 10.00am – 2.00pm
We're looking for enthusiastic volunteer photographers to capture the excitement of the day, including:

The dragon boat race
-
Activities around Riverside Park and stage

Team photographs by the pontoon
Your photographs will help us celebrate the event and promote future festivals.
