We are delighted to announce that the Newark Dragon Boat Festival will be back again in 2022!

Dragon boat racing is the fastest growing water activity in Britain today – as well as the most fun! Up to 10 people paddle each 30’ boat with a drummer at the front beating time.

The race takes part over one day and each team will take part in a minimum of 3 races before the fastest team goes through to the semi-final.

Beaumond House Hospice Care is a registered charity committed to providing supportive palliative care to patients and their families living in Newark and district, an area of approximately 15 miles radius.

The Children’s Bereavement Centre is a local registered charity providing early intervention support for children and young people, age 3-18, in Nottinghamshire and parts of Lincolnshire who are experiencing life-changing trauma due to the death or terminal illness of someone they love.
