We are delighted to announce that after such a difficult 2020 and the disappointment of cancelling so many events and fundraising opportunities, that the Newark Dragon Boat Festival is back for 2021!
Dragon boat racing is the fastest growing water activity in Britain today – as well as the most fun! Up to 10 people paddle each 30’ boat with a drummer at the front beating time. The race takes part over one day and each team will take part in a minimum of 3 races before the fastest team goes through to the semi-final.
The first race starts at 10.15am and the final race is scheduled for 5.20pm with prizes given once the race has finished.
The entertainment stage will be live from 10.00am with entertainments starting shortly afterwards.
